After a year of planning Mama and Papa’s 38th Wedding anniversary celebration – it’s finally over. A bit sad – since we will miss planning and I will miss the chaos in planning the whole thing. I thought I would cry through the whole thing. But, I guess I was more happy and giddy seeing my parents act like newlyweds. I can’t help but smile through the whole event.
Mama, Papa and our other relatives from Baguio stayed at the Manila Hotel, on the eve of April 12. We went around Mall of Asia for the last minute rations. And we left the “honeymooners” in their bridal suite for the night. We, the children – went back to Araneta to discuss the program and other things that might go wrong at the wedding. Here are glimpses…

You may also view the AVP presentation that we showed to our guests right before dinner commenced. I know it may seem “mayabang”, and to be straight to the matter – it is. I guess, we just wanted to show our parents off. Papa used to be a jeepney driver and mama just stayed home to take care of us. She gave most of her time in taking care of their children.
Mama and Papa has been wonderful to us. Through thick and thin. They were always there together. For each other and for us – their children. Sure there are 4 of us. But we never felt that there was a favorite. WE WERE ALL THEIR FAVORITES. And even if we all have our own families now. Their hands are always stretched out should we need them.
This is our tribute to them. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MAMA and PAPA.
