Saying Grace.

Today, we opted to stay in the house instead of braving Cemetery’s and Halloween parties… Sky’s been feeling under the weather and threw up twice today. I am supposed to be at Cha’s house for an all out Halloween party as I write this. But, Sky is my priority right now. So, home is where we stayed.

This morning, Sky and I walked around the village to get some sunshine and a breath of fresh air. I think Sky got tired from playing with D and me over at Alabang Town Center yesterday. Nope, we didn’t do any trick or treating; we just let Sky jump around the play ground and checked out some arcade games over at Timezone.

Maybe that’s why he’s not so feeling well today :(

When Sky and I came back after an hour of me just carrying him around strolling; I was pleasantly surprised to see chocolate and coffee crusted pancakes set on the table with freshly pressed coffee on the side. I didn’t have time to take a photo, I was more excited than Sky to eat D’s creation.

I placed Sky in his booster chair and when I started to say Grace, I was ecstatically happy to see Sky do his own version of “Signing of the Cross” and gingerly clasped his hands together when I said Grace.

D couldn’t contain himself and gave our little one a tight hug after we prayed. We didn’t need a camera to capture that one – it will be forever printed in our minds!

That was the highlight of the day… Tonight as Sky sleeps in slumber and recuperating from a slight fever, I lit up a candle outside out humble home and said a prayer for all our loved one’s up in the heaven’s now. Happy Halloween Everyone!
