Earth Hour.

It was a busy Sunday for us… After my niece’s christening in the morning and a three-hour non-stop chat with my good friend Jaimie and then a family dinner at my sister’s home, we were in a hurry to get home before 8:30PM.

Thankfully, we got back home in time for me to give Sky his much-needed bath, light up candles around the house AND switched off ALL the LIGHTS to celebrate EARTH HOUR.

Sky was so tired from the activities of the day, that he asked for a bottle of fresh milk and headed to bed all by himself. I dutifully followed him and sang him a song before he went to sleep. The ambiance of the house made him sleep even earlier than expected. As soon as he dozed off at a quarter before 9PM, I was happy to see that most of our neighbors switched off their lights as well. A Good 60 minutes of “shutting off” will do wonders for Mother Earth. Hope you celebrated Earth Hour yesterday!
