Hello world! Yes, I am still alive and kicking! My days were just packed last week with training, studying, teaching Sky, going on an impromptu Day trip to Subic… And yes, I celebrated my 33rd birthday last week too!
D was busy with work and Sky and I have to stay here for that personal project-turned family goal until the end of the year to tie-up loose ends. Yes, we will be migrating somewhere in 2010 or whenever we decide – just as soon as everything is all ironed-out.
Sky’s also done with summer school, and now I’m homeschooling him again. D and I are thinking of getting him a thrice-a-week prep class if we find a good school that offers one. We’ll see how that one goes. In the meantime, my days are jam-packed in the coming months with activities. I have to find a good balance for Sky and D. This year will be groundbreaking for the three of us.
Last Wednesday, my sister and I celebrated our birthday over at Subic with the kid’s. The day started promptly at 6:30AM with a leisurely drive to Subic via NCLEX and SCTEX. We were in Subic by 8:00AM and had a refreshing breakfast before heading off to Ocean Adventure. Where we spent the first half of the day watching a High Dive exhibition, a Sea Lion and a Dolphin show.

After which, we headed over to Tree Top Adventure to feed the adrenaline junkie in me. I was glad my sister and her family were “game” to something new for them. We all opted to do the “Superman” and I did the Australian style of rappelling. I’ve done this style and the “lizard” way,way back in 2002. So, it was nice getting that rush again. I’ll do the lizard rappel next time. I wasn’t feeling too confident with my leg strength that day.

I was so glad Sky was taking his nap, while I do my thing in the treetops. To cap off the week. I ran in the The Northface 20K trail run, which was held over at Sacobia, Clark, Pampanga. I’ll just let the photos do the talking, I’ll tell you the details of my trail adventure in my other blog within the week… Sorry for being so sporadic lately. I’ll do my best to tell you more stories in the coming days. Have a busy and happy week ahead!

how is homeschooling, do you recommend it? I also plan on doing this for my future kids until siguro they’re ready for grade school, but of course given that my kids have other kids to play with
