After a great time running over at Sacobia last May 24… I didn’t do ANY runs – until today!… I had no specific distance in mind… I just mustered enough courage to get out of bed and RUN! It was only for 30 minutes – but it felt really good. I can really feel the endorphins kick-in in the last 15 minutes of my run.
After which I did some kettleball exercises… Yep, you heard it… It’s not a kettlebell – it’s a kettleball…

I got this a 4 lb. 2-in-1 Medicine Ball/ Kettleball from Sport Chalet last March. I do the SWING and the PRESS for a full minute each consecutively and 1 minute rest and do 3 to 4 sets. 4 lbs. seem light at first – but it gets heavier when doing both exercises for so long.
I’m on the look out for real kettlebells though… Using the kettlebell in a short period of time – seem to get a good workout for me in the shortest possible time. It’s only been three times since I last used it… And this morning – it was a great adjunct to my short run in getting back on track… Here are videos of the SWING and PRESS from Kettlebell Union.

Wow! I’ve never really seen a kettlebell until… now
It seems like a really interesting piece of exercise equipment though
