A Suitcase and a Spider.

Here’s a couple of shots from our recent trip to Baguio.

This is one of my Kong-Kong’s (grandfather) suitcase tucked in one of the rooms in our place in Baguio. Aside from this one, a blue wooden trunk sits inside the storage room with his initials on it. I was eight years old when he passed away. But I do have a lot of fond memories of him. I spent a lot of my childhood summers with him and my cousins.

Kong-Kong marks all of his things with his name or initials. He almost always wears a hat. And he’s very meticulous and righteous… Traits that are very much like D.

While this ONE was waiting for us when we came in the house. It was around 5 inches long. SCARY. I say WAS – because Papa sent it to its deathbed as soon as he saw ALL of US FREAKING OUT! :)
